After falling in love with Israel and realizing that I identify with the country, I knew I couldn’t just take the typical path and go to college right then. Now was the time for me to serve the country.
For several years, I knew that I wanted to end up living in Israel some day, but wasn’t sure how or when that dream would be realized. In May of 2012, I met an Israeli guy living in Chicago and fell in love.
