Responsibilities:
Visionary Leadership:
– Develop and implement a strategic advancement plan that reflects our values, engages our community, and propels us forward into an exciting future.

Cultivation and Connection:
– Cultivate deep and meaningful relationships with our members, donors, and partners, ensuring they feel valued, connected, and empowered to make a difference.
– Create innovative engagement opportunities that bring our community together, foster connections, and celebrate our shared journey.

Transformational Fundraising:
– Lead fundraising efforts with creativity, vision, and enthusiasm, mobilizing our entire community to support our programs, initiatives, and aspirations.
– Develop inspiring campaigns and events that capture hearts and minds, communicate the values and essence of the synagogue community, driving philanthropic support and sustainable growth.

Strategic Communication:
– Develop and implement strategic communication strategies that amplify our message, elevate our brand, and engage our community across multiple platforms and channels.
– Harness the power of storytelling to inspire action, share our impact, and build a sense of pride and ownership within our community.
– Oversee all marketing and communication initiatives.

Qualifications:
– A visionary leader with a demonstrated track record in driving innovation and achieving impactful results in advancement, fundraising, or related fields.

– A relationship builder with exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to connect with people,
– A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.
– A strong background in marketing and communications.
– A team player with a collaborative spirit and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive community.
– An excellent communicator with strong writing and presentation skills, able to convey complex ideas with clarity and conviction.
– 7+ years of substantive experience in fundraising, including donor relations and solicitation
Board engagement, cultivation, and development experience

Compensation:
– $80,000-$90,000
