Reshet Ramah Associate
Melissa spent the last 16 years at Ramah Day Camp in Nyack, starting as a young camper in 1999. She was a rosh edah for 2 years and then worked at a financial consulting company before joining Reshet Ramah. She graduated from Binghamton University with a dual degree in math and business management, and a concentration in leadership. Melissa loves meeting new people and enjoys strengthening the Ramah alumni network – and she is always down for migrash dancing!
Digital Marketing Specialist & Webmaster
In addition to working as Marketing and Communications Associate for the National Ramah Commission, Karen is responsible for all digital branding, web development, graphic design, and email marketing for Reshet Ramah. A veteran Ramah New England camper, counselor, and rosh edah, and TRY and Seminar alum, Karen joined Ramah’s year-round team after the summer of 2015. She studied Business and International & Global Studies at Brandeis University. Karen plays Ultimate Frisbee at (nearly) the Olympic level and still loves eating Cheez-Its with Oreos while playing with her camp friends.

Seth Adelsberg is an alum of Brandeis University and Solomon Schechter Day School. He spent his formative years at Camp Ramah in the Berkshires where he developed his love for camping and the outdoors. After spending several years away directing other camps, Seth recently returned to the Ramah family where he currently serves as Rosh Al Hagova (director of Outdoor Education). Ilana received her B.A. in History at Washington University in St. Louis and her M.S.Ed in TESOL at Long Island University. Ilana has spent 10 years working at Ramah Nyack as a madricha, rosh edah, and most recently as Program Director. When she’s not working at Ramah, Ilana teaches ESL and Social Studies at a high school in the Bronx. Originally from Cherry Hill, NJ, Michele spent summer after summer at Ramah as a camper and on staff, having worked in many different scopes of camp life. Michele graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Public and Community Health, and then spent time working in public health both locally and abroad. Michele loves her role as Communications Director at Ramah Poconos and is now excited to begin engaging alumni as Reshet Coordinator in Philadelphia and Baltimore! A DC native, Daniel attended Ramah Palmer as a camper, and later worked as a specialist at Ramah Berkshires, where he began the farm program. After earning a B.A. from Binghamton University, he has returned to DC, where he works in a development position for a mission-based investment fund. Elana was born and raised in the Suburbs of Chicago and spent 8 summers at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin, 6 as a camper and 2 staff. She currently sits on the Ramah Day Camp Advisory board, and sends her 3 kids to the Ramah Day Camp and Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. Elana has extensive experience organizing fundraisers and planning events that bring Jewish families together for Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School in Chicago. Elana has a B.A. in Hospitality Business from at Michigan State University and lives in Chicago with her husband Jason, and 3 children, Noah, Sydney and Nathan.
