Rose Penchansky is a Darom and Berkshires Ramahnik who made Aliyah in 2009. She says,

Growing up I continuously learned of the importance of Israel. It was “drilled into my soul.” I learned to love and appreciate that there was a home for Jews, and the historical value Israel had to offer. Eventually I visited, and realized I did not want to leave. For a few years, after returning back to the States, all I could think of was returning to Israel. So, upon completing University, I decided to make the leap. And well, here I am. Loving every moment, and so glad I made the decision to live here. Ramah had always made sure we had Hebrew classes, and lessons on Israel’s history and culture.
