Max Rabin is a California and Berkshires Ramahnik who made aliyah in 2008. Of his experience, he writes:

I think that Israel is the place for all Jews to live. It is the Holy Land that G-d wants us to live in. I think that my Ramah experience helped connect me with and enthuse me about Judaism. My connection to and passion for Judaism is what caused me to make Aliyah.
