Yitzchak (Richard) Yellin
Yitzchak (Richard) Yellin, a Nyack, Berkshires and New England Ramahnik made aliyah in 1992. He says that his Jewish education and experiences with Camp Ramah and USY were the motivating factors behind his decision to make aliyah.
Of the impact of Camp Ramah and the Conservative Movement on his decision, Yitzchak said:
The Conservative Movement made me into an Israeli living in the USA. I became an Israeli even before I ever went to Israel. I married an Israeli whose entire life was lived as if she was a camper, staff member, and product of Camp Ramah.
