Gary T’Har-Lev (Chesnin) is a Wisconsin, New England and Berkshires Ramahnik from 1965 – 1970. He made aliyah in 1975. Of his experience and motivation to make aliyah, he says:

I made aliyah to make a small contribution to the Jewish people and to participate in an amazing chapter of Jewish history now being written in Israel. I made my first trip to Israel at age 17 on Ramah Seminar. Before the trip, living in Israel never crossed my mind. After the trip, living in Israel was continually in my mind until I made aliyah 7 years later.
