Jack Gruenberg & Sandy Gruenberg
Jack spent the summer of 1965 with my junior counselor who would come back to the bunk and talk about him. (eye roll please!) Then in July of 1967, we lived across the street from each other in Jerusalem and our Ramah connection brought us together. We spent everyday that year together and came home nine days before we got married and then went right to Camp in Palmer for our first shabbat together and sheva brachot. Now we have four children who are former Ramahniks and currently 5 grandchildren who are campers at Poconos and Berkshires as well – and counting. What a legacy of over 50 years!
