Adina was in the Israeli mishlachat in 1967. She was in the omanut (art) department. Art was a camper from 1956  for many years and then was Rosh Mayim (head of waterfront) in 1967-68.

They were married in Israel two years later while Art was studying medicine in University of Tel Aviv.
