The 8th Annual Wear Your Ramah T-Shirt Day
Always a fall highlight, “Wear Your Ramah T-Shirt Day” took place on Thursday, November 13. It was first started by Ramah Poconos alumnus Ari Magen when he was just a camper, and has now grown into an international event with thousands of participants demonstrating their Ramah pride. Participating in the fun, posting pictures wearing Ramah gear on Facebook were babies (including two-week-old twins) all the way through Ramah grandparents and great-grandparents; Ramahniks in Europe and Israel, including an IDF training school; multiple elementary, middle, and high school photos (including a number of Orthodox schools); and even a dentist wearing Ramah gear while operating on a patient! Groups of Ramahniks from multiple Ramah camps joined together on campus for pictures at Brandeis, Ohio State, Maryland, Penn, Emory, Berkeley, Hopkins, American, and others, and every Ramah office throughout North America and Israel posted pictures of all their employees wearing their own camp’s shirts.
