My name is Stephanie Sloane and I am the membership chair of Congregation Tifereth Israel of Lower Bucks County in Bensalem, PA (just outside of Philly).

Our synagogue is looking for an individual/individuals that can lead a Family Service for the first day of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The job posting we are putting out is as follows:

Congregation Tifereth Israel of Lower Bucks County in Bensalem, PA.

Our congregation is looking for an individual to lead an interactive, inclusive, and engaging Family Service for the 2024 high holidays.
A little background, we are an inclusive, egalitarian conservative congregation that has undergone a slow but steady rejuvenation over the past 8 years.
Our Hebrew school has gone from 10 students to nearly 60 and many of our families are interfaith and / or multi-racial.
Ideally, we would like to offer a service from 10am-12pm on the first day of Rosh HaShanah and on Yom Kippur.

The dates are: Thursday 10/3/24 for RH and Saturday 10/12/24 for YK. The times are somewhat flexible (9:45-11:45, 10:15-12:15).

Compensation will be up to $2000.00 based on experience and is somewhat negotiable.

For individuals that are local to the Philly/South Jersey area:
Additionally, we will be looking for at least 1 Hebrew school teacher/youth service leader for the 2024-2025 school year. Hebrew school takes place on Sunday 9:30-12pm and Wednesday for grades 3-7 4:15-6pm. Compensation will be $30-$50/hour depending on experience.
