Joshua and Rebecca were introduced in 2003 by a mutual friend who Joshua knew from Berkshires and who Becky met through Ramah’s annual Weinstein training program.
We were apparently in Gesher (8 years old) and Sollelim together, but didn’t meet or become friends until our Machon year. I noticed Matthew because he always volunteered to lead morning services and read Torah.
Amichai Margolis and Kari Phillips Margolis met at Camp Ramah in New England in 2001 and were married in 2004.
We met on the basketball court. He was the basketball director and I was on sports staff.
Aaron Soffer and Hannah Bloch Soffer met at Camp Ramah in the Poconos in 1991 and were married in 2004.
We were both campers for many years at Ramah Poconos but since we were four years apart, we did not know each other well. We had our first real encounter one oneg shabbat in the summer of 1992 when Marshall was visiting camp and Lisa was a JC.
In the summer of 2000, I (Eric Danis) worked as a madrich for Ramah Seminar in Israel. My co-Madricha was Anat Moshe. We got along instantaneously and worked well together.
Ron and I met on the drive down to Camp Ramah. We had a small caravan of Ramah kids and moms from the Bay Area (Walnut Creek, actually) and were heading down to Ojai, CA for the summer.
Daniel Varon and Stacy Krasner Varon met in 1998 and were married in 2004.
Ari was a mishlachat member in the summer of 2001. He returned in 2002, Na’ama’s first time on mishlachat.
